Happy Monday TORQUE tribe we have exciting news! Wednesday may be for our babes, but Monday’s are for our men! It’s time to give some much needed attention and love to our #mansquad! TORQUE is made up of some pretty amazing people and these men truly complete our tribe. Through their strength, their commitment, and their open minds they add a special vibe to this tribe. Without them, we would not be complete. So, with being said, it’s Man Crush Monday and for the first one we have the OG man of this tribe. He has been fueling our boss babe with love, positivity, and the ability to dream since day one (literally day one). Ronnie Adams is not only one of the strong men that you can find in the studio, but he is also the person Summer calls dad. I might be biased by saying this, but Ronnie might be, in fact, the strongest member of this tribe. At the age of almost 70 he is still able to be active and get all the benefits of exercising. If you thought his age was impressive the fact that he has been battling cancer for a year and a half and yet still finds the strength to get on that bike is just simply amazing. A true fighter who takes life into his own hands. He defines his life every single day, not the other way around. He knows that what is meant to be will be, but he is not going down without a fight. He is a strong family man who is proud to say his greatest accomplishments in his life are his children and his greatest joys are his grandchildren, Ronnie is a walking example of what it means to live a life by example. He lives his life rooted in this phrase, “Always do the right thing and you will never have to look over your shoulder.” AND, always be the best that you can be. Anything less is a waste of talent!!” I think he has hit the nail on the head with that one. He is an inspiration and a role model for all of us. Ronnie, thank you. For raising the girl of our dreams. For loving her, believing in her, and supporting her every single day of your life. You have given us an amazing gift through Summer and an even bigger gift of yourself through your wisdom and your presence. Seeing you in the studio makes that place complete. We are so grateful to have you in our lives and can’t wait to keep going through life with you by our sides!

Favorite TORQUE memory:
My favorite TORQUE memories are the very first times I took Summer’s classes. It was probably 3 years ago. I said, Ronnie, what the hell is this? I’ll do it once and be done. But it didn’t go down like that. I took my first class (I will never forget the pain my ass was in AFTER that class), but said I can’t just stop doing this now, I need to show Summer that I enjoy it. Well, it’s been almost 3 years, and I’m still at it, and I’ve apparently learned not to sit, but to ride!!
Favorite quote and what it means to you:
I have a few sayings that I like to say, and believe in. As being Summer’s dad, I see that they have all had an effect on her and so here they are:
1.Be the best that you can be!! That should say enough, but it is all one can do!
2.Always do the right thing. You never ever have to look over your shoulder, and people will always support you, don’t ever give people a reason to feel otherwise
3.Always be yourself, and don’t ever change anything for anyone. Being yourself is feeling good about whom you are, and should allow others to be themselves while in your company.
How did you find TORQUE:
With me, finding TORQUE was easy, I woke up one morning and there was this cute little blond in the kids room in the hospital in Orlando Fl, with a beanie on her head. She was so so so soooooooooooo small(3 pounds +) and everyone in the hospital LOVED her!! She went home about 1 week after being born (she had to put some weight on) and that’s when it all started. Growing up I never thought I would see a bead of sweat coming off her, but I was wrong. She was a great gymnast, and an even greater person.!! Sweet as could be, and always there for you!! When she opened TORQUE I had to go, and I love it and I love her!!
Ronnie’s TORQUE schedule:
My schedule is Saturday mornings and Monday evenings. I do exercise every day, but for other reasons I have limited my workouts at TORQUE to twice a week. My spin sessions are really good for me, and I always feel great after my classes
