Happy Wednesday TORQUE tribe, I hope the week is treating you well! I think it is pretty safe to say that fall has officially arrived. Grab you vests and fleeces and enjoy the brisk fall air! Truth be told, fall is my favorite season. Like the seasons, life sometimes parallels. When I think of fall, I think of change. Like the leaves on the trees, we too, take this time to change certain things about ourselves. Whether it is a commitment to ourselves, a new college class, a habit we are giving up, or a positive mindset, whatever it may be, change comes knocking around this time every year. Again, these Women Crushes just have a way of fitting into the rhythm of life. About 2 years ago, Molly decided to make a change in her life. She was brave and strong. She stepped out of her comfort zone and when she did, she truly did land amongst the stars. She decided that following her dream of becoming an instructor at TORQUE was something she really wanted to do. With some hard work, some good vibes, and a whole lot of positivity, she made that dream a reality. She didn’t sit around and think of all the reason she couldn’t do this, instead she put herself first and chased her dreams. And we are so happy that she did. From her sweet smile to her contagious laugh, Molly brings sweetness to the studio every day. You can catch her on the barre or on the stage many times throughout the week, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out! Molly, we love you! We are so grateful that you chased your dreams that brought you to us!!

Favorite TORQUE memory
I would have to say both the 1-Year and 2-Year anniversaries. Yes, the energy in the studio is INSANE but I love it for a slightly different reason.
I started my instructor journey teaching at TORQUE when we first opened in 2016 and both anniversaries allowed me to look back and reflect on how far I've come. When I made the decision to pursue teaching, to say I was scared is an understatement. I was stepping well out of my comfort zone but teaching was something I felt deep in my heart was what I was meant to do! I've grown so much as not only an instructor but as a person and I couldn't be more thankful for this place. It continuously challenges me to be the best version of myself and being surrounded by so many inspiring and supportive women is incredible!
Favorite quote and what it means to you:
I have many quotes that I live by each day but one quote that really helps guide me whenever I feel uncertain or need direction is "Live What You Love". This was my first Mantra Band my Mom bought for me and serves as a beautiful reminder to create a life you love, surround yourself with those you cherish, stay true to who you are and always follow your heart.
Life is too short to wait around for the "right time" - it's time to start living and going after what you want!
Your definition of TORQUE:
TORQUE is our happy place, our sanctuary. It is the one place where we can escape life and all of the stresses that come with it. It's a place where you feel inspired, supported, strong and most importantly, yourself.
It's a place where for 45 minutes, you aren't checking your work e-mail or worrying about problems that are out of your control. Whether you are in the spin room or barre/trx room, you just LET IT ALL GO, pushing yourself further than you thought and most importantly shifting focus on becoming a stronger, better YOU.
It's a beautiful, unique, tight-knit community you can't find anywhere else and I am incredibly thankful to call this place home.
Favorite workout clothing brand:
LuLulemon for sure! I will admit that it is definitely on the pricier side but I swear the quality keeps FOREVER! (At least that's what I tell me husband ? ) Not to mention it's super comfortable! But I will say - TORQUE swag is a very close second :)
Favorite post workout snack:
It truly depends on what time of day - and the workout!
I usually go for a smoothie - something not too heavy!
My go to smoothie is:
-1 cup ice
-Half of a banana
-1 scoop vanilla protein (Tone It Up brand - can be found at Target!)
-1 scoop collagen (Great Lakes has been my go-to for years!)
-Sprinkle unsweetened coconut flakes on top
Post Spin :
I will sometimes have a smoothie but it doesn't always keep me filled! So I usually go with a veggie omelet - it's quick, easy and not expensive!
2 whole eggs and I will add in peppers + mushrooms, spinach and arugula (& half of avocado on the side sprinkled with Trader Joes Everything Seasoning!)
